I’ve been covering some of the best ETFs for maximizing dividend income. And the most popular ones are your active High income ETFs like covered call ETFs.

These ETFs use a covered call strategy on their underlying holdings to generate premium income which is then distributed to investors as a dividend yield.

Now the most attractive aspects of these ETFs are, first, their extremely high dividend yields, but also the frequency of dividend distributions. This category of active ETFs tends to distribute dividends every month and some even distribute every week. This makes them extremely attractive for income investors and retirees who rely on their portfolio income.

But unfortunately it’s very easy to get caught up in the hype of these high dividend yields and many times investors get caught in dividend traps. And the worst part is that you may not be aware until the markets start to exhibit volatility.
