Behind The Scenes: Opening Range Breakout (ORB) Strategy [Part 1]

https://optionalpha.com/?ytref=85 – I’ve never traded an opening range breakout (ORB) options strategy before, but I’m going to start doing it with bots. As a manual trader before, I never had the time or patience to day trade that way – it just didn’t fit my style or personality as a trader. However, now that I can utilize backtesting and bots to make the process more systematic, I’m on a journey to find an ORB strategy that works well for me and complements my existing 0-1DTE strategies that I’m already running. This first video introduces the concept of an ORB strategy, what it is, how it works, etc. Then, I’ll start the process of backtesting ideas to see what broadly works and what doesn’t, before we dive deeper into backtesting in the following video I plan to do. It should be a fun “behind the scenes” process, and I hope it helps you.
