Zcash Fixes a 4-Year Supply Bug. Does ZEC Actually Win?

Zcash (ZEC) is closing a hole that sat open for four years: a hidden bug that could have minted coins out of nothing. The Ironwood fork on July 28 swaps in a pool with verifiable supply and shuts that door, and since the flaw is tied to a drawdown of roughly half of ZEC’s value, the question is what removing it actually does for the token.
