After all these years, I’m still seeing people here on YouTube and on websites like the Motley Fool and Seeking Alpha recommend the same high yielding stocks despite their terrible track records. I’m dumbfounded that after all these years many analysts and financial organizations are still recommending putting your retirement savings into these dividend stocks that I’m going to highlight today. To be fair, I think every stock I’ll discuss today can have its moments. If tomorrow interest rates are slashed and we enter a tremendous bull market, then every holding I’m going to mention will likely do well along with the rest of the market. But the issue that I have with all of these stocks is that even during good times, these companies have seen their share prices collapse and usually been forced to slash their dividends.
