Cheaper Options Dont Automatically Mean Better Trades

SPY may be smaller than SPX — but smaller doesn’t automatically mean better.

SPY is roughly one-tenth the value of SPX. That can make SPY options more accessible for some traders, but cheaper doesn’t mean better (and bigger doesn’t mean better either).

The better question is: which product fits the plan?

Before you trade, define:
strategy
risk
position size
spread width
entry + exit criteria

Because if the position is too large for your account, the plan can break the moment emotions show up.

So the order is: plan first → product second → trade last.
